Every now and then I am struck with how simple good food can be. Lunch today was a salad of Pak Choi, Tatsoi, Bibb Lettuce, cilantro, a few dollops of fresh white cheese with garlic and balsamic vinaigrette. Tangy, spicy, fragrant, crunchy, smooth and rich all packed into a bowl of greens. Five minutes elapsed from picking it in the greenhouse to forking it into my mouth. It tasted alive. Wow, what good fortune.
Now, I gotta get back to fencing the cows.
