Great Grandmom Nectarine (no nickname), Grandmom Clementine (Tiny), Mom Tangerine (Teeny), and here’s Mini… I suppose Micro is next.

Look closely. She's there, but she is Mini.

Mini was born yesterday. She is the smallest calf that I have seen.  She is weak and as of this morning still can’t stand. But she does have a will to eat.  We milked colostrum off Mom (Teeny) and fed her at 6 PM, 8 PM, 10 PM, 2 AM and 6 AM. That she is still alive at all is a small (hah) miracle.

We now have all five cows in milk. If you have an interest in raw, organic, grass-fed, Jersey milk, now’s the time to indulge.
